This is my uncle. He disappeared before I was born. My mom spent 30+ years searching for him before she died. I would love to find out what happened to him.

I'm sorry for your loss. If you have anything online about his case always feel free to share it here and I'll post it for you.

Did your mom have any ideas or theories about what happened?

I was in the police class with David.
He always was very quiet, had a deep voice.
Several of his classmates we're having a study group at his appartment once.
He was different from my perspective.
I always wonder what happened.

I am still in touch with my cousin (David’s son). We all seem to think he left and created a new identity, possibly in CA. My mom felt the same before she passed. Neither I nor my cousin thinks he is dead. Thank you for reaching out I gave this site to my cousin as well.

I usually only add missing cases when I am asked, or, when I think the person is deceased and I want to keep an eye on the case to compare to John Doe cases.

If you find he is alive just email me and I'll be glad to remove his case. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened and that is certainly the best possible resolution.

In this case I was assuming he was deceased because the plane was never found.

I never understood the plane thing. Should I contact the sergeant on the case? I could just pick up where my mom left it. It’s a family mystery. Thank you for this site! It means a lot. I will let you know if I find out more. Thanks again!

You are very welcome!

Make sure he has DNA and dental info in NamUs if you do decide to keep searching.
