Circumstances of Disappearance:
Jesus Garcia is a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Afghanistan and disappeared around 2 AM on February 2, 2015 with his brother, Ernesto Garcia, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served in Iraq. The two brothers had traveled to Matamoros, Mexico to visit family, a trip they did every few months.

Unlike previous trips, the two brothers decided they would leave their location in Matamoros which was about 20 minutes south of Brownsville, Texas at about 2 AM and make the trip back to the United States. According to Ernesto Garcia’s wife, the two men never drove home at night and always waited until the day time to make the drive.

Ernesto Garcia is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who served in Iraq and disappeared around 2 AM on February 2, 2015 with his brother, Jesus Garcia who was U.S. Army Veteran who served in Afghanistan.

The two brothers had traveled to Matamoros, Mexico to visit family, a trip they did every few months.
