Circumstances of Recovery:  White male recovered from the Schuylkill River at River Rd. He was wearing clothing, which was subsequently determined to have at one time belonged to a patient at the Veterans Hospital in Coatesville, PA. Identifying markings were on the inner seam of a shirt and his undershorts, in the name of "Bruse Bennett", who was determined to be alive during the investigation.

Reward offered for information on skeletal remains found on Fort Bliss​

FORT BLISS, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Army is offering a reward for information that helps them identify human remains that were found on Fort Bliss.

The human remains were found in Castner Range, Hondo Pass area near the El Paso Border Patrol Station in the northeast on March 18, according to a Fort Bliss news release.

It stated that a person walking in the area found the remains and reported them to law enforcement.

The remains were discovered above ground.

There was no evidence that indicated they had been buried, officials stated.

Army officials said although there is one active missing person case at Fort Bliss, initial findings do not indicate the two cases are related.

It is believed the remains are a man between the ages of 30 to 40 years old with a height between 5 feet, 7 inches to 6 feet tall.

They believe the man went missing and died between 2017 to 2019.

The man was possibly wearing black Oakley's glasses, a blue Under Armor jacket, a white shirt, blue denim pants, a black knee brace, a grey sweatshirt, and white and gray “Wolverine” socks, officials stated.

A blue Crunch Fitness bag was found with the remains.

Officials said there is no danger to area residents or the community.

Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division at 915-568-1700.

A $1,000 reward will be given to anyone who provides information leading to the person's identification.

Fort Bliss Criminal Investigation Command agents are investigating this case.

This skull fragment was found in a remote area of the mountains and is thought to possibly be associated with a 1940s military aircraft that crashed in the area. No other bones or personal property was recovered.

Circumstances of Recovery:
AST received a call from a bystander stating they located human remains while exploring Kruzof Island. The remains were located near Shoals Point on what used to be a road/path that has now become overgrown. No known grave sites are located nearby but the area is known for being a WWII site.

Found approximately 1/8 mile south of American Legion Hall and 50 yards east of old 49. Skeletonized remains were discovered after a grass fire in the area exposed them. Bones were scattered over a radius of 20-30 feet.
